Walk to everything: train, bus, tram (Rotterdam, The Hague, Leiden, North Sea beaches, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris!); shops, museums, restaurants, cinema, city park w/ swimming lake, indoor pools & squash, Delft University of Technology, bike rental & service at train station. No pets; smoking outside only, please. Great house, perfect location! We are a family of 6 (4 children ages 13, 10, 7 and 5) connected to the university; this house is our residence and we look forward to telling you more about it.
The charming historical city of Delft (pop. 100,000 including university students) has a lovely center built on numerous canals. There is a large city park with a swimming lake, rowboats and windsurfing, walking and biking paths, and a children's petting farm. Tour boats through town start just 50 m. from the house. Note: MapQuest shows the location of the house further south than it actually is.
Ideal: 2-min. walk to train, bus, and tram.
